Olympic Games Day

Today, following the camp tradition we have sport contests, called Olympic Games. We start at the first sport station and move on to the other, until we have completed all of them; running on time, throwing a ball, swimming, doing squats and so on. Our teachers note down our results, compare them and the winners will be announced in the evening during our get-together. Some volunteers have a chance to ride a horse; for a few of them for the first time in their lives! Unfortunately, there are only 5 students who want to take a part in the swimming contest in the lake. What a shame, as the water seems to be quite warm and pleasant!
This afternoon we have had our English lessons - we have continued with the topic of sports - the names of various types of sports, their rules, a sports bingo and the running dictation game,which involved, as the name suggests, a bit of running.
Our evening get-together has been all about announcing the winners and  handing out the medals for the morning olympics. We have had a chance to watch the video clips from the kayaking trip and Kacper Majewski show interviews.
