Shakespeare workshops and trip to Gdańsk - drama

Today we had an early start and an early breakfast. Two hour trip on the coach was long and tiring but the Shakespeare workshops more than compensated for it. We learnt about the layout of the theatre, which is based on the original globe from the Shakespeare times. The Gdańsk theatre is located on Bogusławkiego Street and takes up the spot from the old Fencing School. The theatre has a folding roof  and it is the only theatre in the world of this kind. Unfortunately, we couldn't see the roof in action as it is broken and the only person in the world able to fix it lives in Spain, and he is in high demand. Hopefully, he will be able to attend to it soon. We also acted out some scenes from the  Bard's plays ( and that is what Shakespeare is called, being the greatest poet ever) and had a tour of the stage area. Currently, the Merry Wives of Windsor (Wesołe Kumoszki z Windsoru) is being played.
We highly recommend the visit!

In the afternoon, after lunch in a yacht club, we spent a blissful time on the Stogi beach in the Gdańsk area, paddling in the water (we couldn't swim as the waves were too dangerous), playing voleyball or simply chilling out on the towels.
